On July 31st, 2023, our Rotaract club organized the “Kubala – Bring into the World” event in
collaboration with our Parent club, Rotary Club of Vijayawada Central, under the avenue of 7 Areas of Focus. Led by
Rtr. Thanmai, the project was held at 7 Hills High School in Vijayawada, with four dedicated Rotaractors participating for two hours.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of proper care and precautions that pregnant
women should follow for a healthy pregnancy and safe childbirth. The name “Kubala” signifies the beginning of a new life, and this project emphasized the significance of taking steps to ensure a healthy start for both mother and child.
The special moment of the event was when the Rotaract club took one step towards pregnant women,
showing their commitment to supporting and empowering them during this crucial phase of life. The event highlighted the importance of education and awareness in promoting maternal health and well-being, advocating for a healthier future generation.
In one word, this “Kubala – Bring into the World” project can be described as “Awareness,” as it
emphasized the essential role of spreading knowledge and guidance to pregnant women about the
precautions they should take for a safe and healthy pregnancy. The event reflected the club’s dedication to the 7 Areas of Focus,
particularly in the aspect of promoting maternal and child health, making a positive impact on the community by creating
a culture of awareness and support for pregnant women
